Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Jiu-Jitsu is a type of martial art geared towards self-defense. Its translation is the gentle art. It focuses on grappling and ground fighting. Jiu-Jitsu seeks to establish the position of the body in relationship to the opponent’s, instead of just knocking them out. This martial art was created by Helio Gracie, who focused on nourishing the mind and body simultaneously, making Jiu-Jitsu a lifestyle. Luiz Claudio puts an emphasis on children to teach them self-defense and not be victims of bullying.

  • Beginners Monday – Thursday 6:00pm – 7:00pm; Saturday 11:00am-12:00pm
  • Advanced Monday – Friday 7:00pm – 8:30pm
  •  No-Gi Tuesday & Thursday 6:00pm – 7:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm – 1:30pm
  •  Beginners & Advanced Monday – Friday 12:00pm – 1:30pm

Wrestling is a combat sport involving grappling-type techniques such as clinch fighting, throws and takedowns, joint locks, pins and other grappling holds.
